MARIC wins design order for Yangzhou COSCO Heavy Industry Afula Tanker

On February 28th, China Ship and Ocean Engineering Design and Research Institute (MARIC) and Yangzhou COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. officially signed a design contract for the 114,000-ton product tanker in Shanghai. The two parties once again cooperated to build a boutique Afra oil tanker. . The Afra type tanker is one of the branded ship types of the MARIC tanker and has been designed and delivered in recent years. The ship has a total length of 249.9 meters, a length of 245.4 meters between the vertical lines, a width of 44 meters, a depth of 21.5 meters, and a full load of 15 meters.

On January 30 this year, the “11V tons of refined oil tanker “HAVNOVER SQUARE”, which was just delivered by Yangzhou COSCO Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co., was also designed and developed by MARIC.
