Up to 6 vessels ~ Nantong CIMC Pacific Offshore has won the worlds largest LNG filling vessel order

At the beginning of the Lunar Year of the Lunar Year, Nantong CIMC Pacific Ocean Engineering Co., Ltd. (CIMC SOE) two 20,000 cubic meters LNG transportation and filling ship orders came into effect. It is reported that the order that took effect is the first two of the 2+2+2 orders signed by STOLT-NIELSEN GAS B.V. and CIMC SOE.

CIMC SOE has rich experience in the design and manufacture of gas carriers and good delivery performance. It has delivered six 27,500 cubic meters multi-purpose LNG carriers in the field of LNG carriers. The 20,000 cubic meters LNG transportation and filling vessel received this time is the world's LNG fuel filling vessel. The main cargo tank of the vessel is a C-type double-valve tank, which is safe, energy-saving and environmentally friendly. It is a technology of LNG carrier. Sublimation can not only transport LNG, but also add LNG to other ships and terminals. As an important development direction in the future of LNG, LNG filling ship is one of the key product directions of CIMC SOE in the future.

It is understood that STOLT-NIELSEN GAS BV, which is a contract with CIMC SOE, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of World Chemicals Shipping Company Stolt-Nielsen and Avenir LNG, a joint venture between two giants in the LNG field, Hoegh LNG and Golar LNG, focusing on small scale. LNG transportation and LNG fueling operations, while Hoegh LNG and Golar LNG are also end users of the regasification module previously delivered by CIMC SOE.
